Classroom Management and Engagement
Are you ready for extraordinary instruction engaged students exceptional results ?
Classroom Management is what we do
Engaging students is how we do it
We take our training institute to you! By going to you, we show your teachers and administrators how to create a highly engaging, interesting learning environment with the resources they already have. We demonstrate how to effectively educate students without:
- buying expensive high tech devices
- purchasing trendy educational programs
We have found that schools already have everything they need. We provide the training necessary to fully utilize the resources schools already have . . . without breaking the bank.
Workshops
We hear, frequently, from teachers, that their biggest challenge is classroom management. Because we have been in hundreds of classrooms and worked directly with countless teachers, in their environments, we have seen exactly what teachers need. We do not teach educational theory. We teach what works. We show teachers how to manage classrooms effectively by engaging and motivating them! That’s right! Our workshops are designed so the teachers are our students!
We SHOW your teachers how to effectively manage:
-
transitions
-
class time
-
inappropriate student behavior
by DEMONSTRATING how to:
-
set expectations high
-
motivate students
-
create rules
-
rehearse routines and procedures
-
arrange desks
-
encourage and reward appropriate behavior
-
discourage inappropriate behavior
-
engage ALL students
-
maximize instructional time
-
teach for mastery
From the hardest inner city schools to the most rural districts, we have seen it all and we have discovered that kids are kids. They all need the same three things- love, structure and direction. When all three are present, classrooms are managed well and learning takes off! We show your teachers how to incorporate all three.
Students need teachers who manage classrooms well. Period.
Side-by-side Coaching
Our approach is simple. We work with administration to create a strategy. We do the heavy lifting so administrators do not have another thing to worry about. Then, we work directly with teachers, in their classrooms, and train them to manage their classrooms effectively.
Observe
We watch the teacher to identify areas in which they are effective and ineffective.
Instruct
Then, we instruct the teacher, in real time, how to be more effective.
Demonstrate
As the teacher moves towards mastery, we demonstrate how to effectively manage their students.
No observation forms. No worksheets to complete. No surveys. No extra work for anybody. . . and that is one of the reasons teachers look forward to us coming.
The results are remarkable.
